Phurba of Shangri-La

$45.00$65.00

This piece resembles a Phurba, a ritualistic dagger said to ward off evil spirits. It was claimed to have been found in a small shrine which was carved into the side of a sheer cliff on the Tibet-Nepalese border. The unique features of this artifact seem to venerate an unknown deity, whose motifs appear as unusual corruptions of traditional Phurba symbolism. A small piece of parchment, which mysteriously vanished along with the dagger’s original founder, suggested that this may be in fact a spiritual artifact from the mythical Shangri-La.
